Phsar Dek Derby shoes
Phsar Dek is the name we give for our dashing two eyelet Derby shoes. These shoes are, like all our formal dress shoes, Goodyear welted construction which means the soles are stitched to the welt piece of leather, meaning that the shoes can be resoled many time, so great value.
Phsar Dek shoes have full leather soles, which we hand paint with our Italian patina alcohol dye colours, and we put rubber top lift on the heels for extra grip. Our dress shoes are fully lined with leather in our signature turquoise colour.
The uppers of Phsar Dek can be made in Italian hand coloured crust leather (our speciality) with patina, or in Italian suede or a combination thereof.
For those curious about the name; Phsar Dek is the English alliteration for the old Khmer name for Sadec, a town in the Mekong delta of what is now Vietnam, but was previously part of the Khmer Kingdom. The Khmer name means 'iron market'.
Phsar Dek shoes are available as ready to wear and can also be personalised with our made to order programme.
